Ingredients
  

  • 1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 3/4 cup plain dry breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup ketchup

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix ground beef, Lipton onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, beaten eggs, water, and ketchup. Mix well.
  • Put the meat mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  • Place the loaf pan on a baking sheet to catch any drippings.
  • Cover the meatloaf with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
  • Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes to brown the top.
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use a mix of ground beef and ground pork for a richer flavor.
  • Add finely chopped vegetables like onions and bell peppers for extra flavor.
  • Brush the top with extra ketchup or barbecue sauce before baking for a tasty glaze.
