Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions
 

  • Put ketchup and barbecue sauce in a saucepan.
  • Add hot sauce and apple cider vinegar.
  • Mix in brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Add garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and paprika.
  • Whisk until smooth.
  • Heat the sauce on medium heat until it simmers.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Stir sometimes to prevent sticking.
  • Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Put the sauce in an airtight container.

Notes

  1. Use good ketchup for the best taste.
  2. Adjust the hot sauce to make it more or less spicy.
  3. Let the sauce sit for a few hours for better flavor.
  4. Store the sauce in the fridge for up to two weeks.
