Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground chicken breast
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add diced onions and bell peppers to pan.
  • Cook vegetables for 5 minutes until softened.
  • Add minced garlic and cook 1 minute more.
  • Add ground chicken to the vegetable mixture.
  • Cook chicken for 8-10 minutes until browned.
  • Stir in tomato sauce and tomato paste.
  • Add all spices: paprika, cayenne, oregano, thyme.
  • Season mixture with salt and pepper.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce and mix well thoroughly.
  • Simmer for 10 minutes until sauce thickens.
  • Toast buns lightly in separate pan.
  • Serve hot chicken mixture on toasted buns.
