Ingredients
  

  • Pinto beans 3 cans
  • Chopped Onion half
  • Chili powder 1 tablespoon
  • Kosher salt 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper ½ tablespoon
  • Cayenne pepper ⅛ tablespoon
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese 1 cup
  • Oil to fry beans

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan, fry chopped onions until tender.
  • Add drained beans and cook for a few minutes.
  • Add another can of beans with its liquid.
  • Season with black pepper, cayenne pepper, and kosher salt.
  • Sprinkle chili powder over the beans.
  • Stir beans well on the stove.
  • Cook until beans are soft.
  • Mash beans with a potato masher.
  • Stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Mix well until cheese melts and creamy.
  • Remove from heat. Serve and enjoy your refried beans!

Notes

  • Use fresh pinto beans for the best flavor.
  • Cook the beans until they’re very soft.
  • Mash the beans well with a potato masher or blender.
  • Season with salt, garlic, and cumin for great taste.
