Boil water in a large pot.
Add salt generously to the water.
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Drain and set aside.
Reserve one cup of pasta water.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet.
Add sliced sausage to the pan.
Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
Flip occasionally for even cooking.
Remove sausage and set aside temporarily.
In the same skillet, add butter.
Let it melt completely over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and cook 1 minute.
Pour in honey and soy sauce.
Stir well and let it simmer.
Add red pepper flakes if you like heat.
Return sausage to the skillet with sauce.
Add the cooked pasta to the pan.
Toss everything together until well coated.
Add reserved pasta water if needed.
Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
The sauce should stick to everything perfectly.
Remove from heat immediately when ready.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
Serve hot in bowls or plates.
