Ingredients
  

  • 1 package frozen cheese tortellini 20 oz
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • This temperature works perfectly for bubbly cheese.
  • Let it heat while you prepare everything.
  • Boil water in your large pot.
  • Add a pinch of salt to the water.
  • Cook tortellini according to package directions.
  • Usually takes about 3-4 minutes.
  • Drain well and set aside.
  • Heat marinara sauce in your saucepan.
  • Add heavy cream and stir well.
  • Mix in garlic and Italian seasoning.
  • Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Put cooked tortellini in your baking dish.
  • Pour the creamy sauce over the pasta.
  • Add dollops of ricotta cheese on top.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese generously.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 15 minutes covered.
  • Remove foil and bake 10 more minutes.
  • Cheese should be golden and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for 5 minutes.
