Pound chicken breasts to even thickness.
This helps them cook uniformly.
Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Dredge each piece in flour completely.
Shake off any excess flour gently.
Heat olive oil in your skillet.
Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side.
They should turn golden brown.
Remove and set aside on a plate.
Add butter to the same pan.
Sauté mushrooms until they're soft and brown.
Add minced garlic and cook 30 seconds.
Pour in Marsala wine and scrape pan bottom.
Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
Add chicken broth and heavy cream.
Stir everything together well.
Return chicken to the pan.
Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
The sauce will thicken beautifully.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
