Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 8 oz sliced steak
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers diced
  • 1/2 cup onions sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg beaten

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Heat olive oil in large skillet.
  • Cook steak until browned completely.
  • Add peppers and onions to pan.
  • Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper.
  • Cook vegetables until tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Roll dough into large rectangle shape.
  • Spread cheese evenly across dough surface.
  • Add cooked steak mixture on top.
  • Roll dough tightly from long side.
  • Seal edges with beaten egg wash.
  • Place seam-side down on baking sheet.
  • Brush top with remaining egg wash.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  • Cool for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  1. Use room temperature dough for easier rolling and handling.
  2. Don't overfill the stromboli to prevent bursting during baking.
  3. Seal edges firmly with egg wash for best results.
  4. Let it rest before cutting to keep filling inside.
