Glass jar
- 1 cup KETCHUP
- 1/4 cup BROWN SUGAR
- 2 tbsp APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
- 1 tbsp DIJON MUSTARD
- 1 tbsp WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
- 1 tsp SMOKED PAPRIKA
- 1/2 tsp GARLIC POWDER
- 1/4 tsp BLACK PEPPER
Combine the Ingredients Place your saucepan on the stove. Add the ketchup and sugar first. Pour in the vinegar and mustard next. Add all your dry spices to the pan.
Whisk Everything Together Use your whisk to stir the mix. Make sure the sugar dissolves completely. There should be no dry spice clumps left. The mixture should look very smooth now.
Simmer the Sauce Turn the heat to a low setting. Let the sauce bubble very gently. Do not let it boil too hard. Stir it every few minutes with your whisk.
Thicken the Mixture Cook the sauce for fifteen minutes. It will become dark and very shiny. The smell will fill up your whole kitchen. It is ready when it coats a spoon.
Cool and Serve Take the pan off the heat now. Let the sauce cool down for a bit. It gets thicker as it cools down. Brush it on your favorite grilled meats.
