Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 lb Elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups  Colby jack cheese (shredded)
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Boil macaroni until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  • Whisk in flour to make a roux. Stir for 2-3 minutes.
  • Gradually add milk, whisking to avoid lumps. Cook until thick.
  • Reduce heat, add cheddar and colby jack cheeses. Stir until melted.
  • Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Adjust to taste.
  • Combine macaroni with cheese sauce, coating well.
  • Prepare the oven by preheating it to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the mixture in a baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  • Until golden brown and bubbly, bake for 30-35 minutes.
