Equipment

  • High-speed blender
  • Rubber spatula
  • Measuring Cups
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Piping bag with a star tip

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Frozen Pineapple Chunks
  • 1/4 Cup Almond Milk
  • 3 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 Tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Pinch Sea Salt

Instructions

  • Add your frozen pineapple chunks into the blender bowl carefully. Do not use warm or thawed fruit for this step.
  • Pour your choice of milk over the frozen fruit chunks now. Add the maple syrup and fresh lemon juice into the mix.
  • Put a tiny pinch of sea salt into the blender container. Secure the lid on top of your blender tightly.
  • Start blending the ingredients on a low speed at first. Slowly turn the speed up to high as the fruit breaks down.
  • Stop the machine if the fruit gets stuck on the sides. Use your rubber spatula to push the pineapple down.
  • Blend again on high speed for one or two minutes. Keep going until the mixture looks thick and creamy.
  • Spoon the soft dessert directly into small serving bowls. You can also use a piping bag for a pretty swirl.

Notes

  • Use completely solid frozen pineapple chunks for the thickest soft serve texture.
  • Add the liquid milk slowly so your whip does not become too runny.
  • Scrape the blender walls often to ensure every single chunk gets smooth.
  • Serve the dessert immediately because it melts faster than normal ice cream.
  • Use canned coconut milk if you want a richer tropical coconut flavor.
