Instructions
Place your eggs in the large pot carefully. Do not let them drop or crack. Cover them with two inches of cold water.
Turn the stove to high heat now. Bring the water to a rolling boil. This will start the cooking process quickly.
Turn off the heat and cover the pot. Let the eggs sit for twelve minutes. This makes the yolks perfectly yellow and firm.
Prepare a bowl with ice and cold water. Move the eggs into the ice bath. Let them cool down for five minutes.
Peel the eggs gently under cool running water. Pat them dry with a clean paper towel. Slice each egg in half length-wise.
Melt the butter in a small pan. Whisk in the Cajun seasoning and garlic powder. Stir until the mixture is very smooth.
Drizzle the spicy butter over the eggs. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top for a nice look. Serve them while they are still warm.
Notes
Make sure to use an ice bath to make peeling much easier. Adjust the cayenne pepper based on your heat tolerance.
