Instructions
Clean and peel the shrimp, removing tails if preferred.
Pat the shrimp completely dry with paper towels.
In one bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, and Cajun spices.
Pour buttermilk into a second shallow bowl.
Dip each shrimp into the buttermilk, then coat in the flour mix.
Heat oil in a deep pot to 350°F.
Fry shrimp in batches for 3 minutes until golden brown.
