  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Small whisk

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet skin removed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Instructions

  • Cut salmon into 1-inch bite-sized pieces.
  • Pat salmon pieces dry with paper towels.
  • Season salmon with salt and black pepper.
  • Set up three stations: flour, beaten eggs, breadcrumbs.
  • Dredge each piece in flour first.
  • Dip floured salmon into beaten eggs.
  • Coat completely with panko breadcrumbs.
  • Heat oil in skillet over medium heat.
  • Fry salmon bites for 3-4 minutes each side.
  • Remove when golden brown and crispy.
  • Mix all sauce ingredients in small bowl.
  • Toss warm salmon bites with bang bang sauce.

Notes

  1. Frozen salmon can become watery when cooked
  2. Cook in batches for even browning
  3. This helps the coating stick better
  4. Add more sriracha for extra heat
  5. Salmon bites taste best when hot and crispy
